SERVICE PROJECTS
Our motto is "We Serve."
Lions are a global service network of volunteers that make a difference. Hales Corners Lions know how important it is to support the education of our young students in our community. That's why we offer annual scholarships to high school and college students who meet the eligible criteria and complete an application. Beyond the scholarships listed here, we also provide service projects, community events, sponsorships and donations to people and organizations. Interested in donating to our causes? Click DONATE.
SCHOLARSHIPS
PRIVATE SCHOOL SENIORS
Apply by: July 1st each year​
Award: $500 per year and annually renewable
Open to a High School student who lives in the Whitnall School District but chose to attend an accredited private school (non Whitnall). Must have at least a 3.0 gpa, complete essay, provide transcript and letter of recommendation along with application.
WHITNALL SCHOOL SENIORS
Apply by: July 1st each year​
Award: $500 per year and annually renewable
Open to a High School student who lives in the Whitnall School District - MORE INFO TO COME ON NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
To Apply: ​
1) Complete a student application form. Must be printed for original signatures.
2) Obtain a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or coach.
3) Obtain copies of your high school transcripts.
4) The Lions Motto is "We Serve." Complete an essay detailing how you have served others thus far in your student life and how you might endeavor to serve others in the future. Please include your educational and career goals and how attaining them can make you a better citizen and contributor in serving your community, your nation and the world.
